# The conversation is still in progress

> 409 conversation_in_progress

A call is deleted, and any conversation analysed, once it has ended — not while somebody is still in it.

## What to do

Wait for it to end — `conversation.ended` says when — then send the request again.

## Retrying

Yes, once the conversation has ended.
