# AuditActor

> The AuditActor object.

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `email` | string or null | A person's email address, while their account exists. |
| `id` | string (uuid) or null | The person's or the key's id. Null for the platform, and for a person whose account has since been deleted. |
| `name` | string | Who acted, as they were called when they did it. |
| `type` | string | Who acted: `person`, `api_key`, or `platform` for something the platform did itself, such as deleting what its retention period reached. New words may be added. |
