The number and the agent do not fit

A number that receives calls rings its agent, so the agent must answer phone calls; a number that only places calls is an outbound agent's caller ID.

What to do

Read detail, which says which side to change: the agent, or the number's direction in the console.

Retrying

No: the same request gets the same answer until something is changed.
